Patchwork carpets are an innovative way of breathing new life into older handknotted Turkish and Persian carpets well beyond repair. Before being cut into smaller pieces, the carpets are stonewashed and the pile trimmed down to achieve a vintage look. The pieces are then arranged in a harmonious and creative mix of sizes and patterns, each patch telling its own unique story. The patches are then sewn together by hand with a sturdy yarn and have a fabric backside to provide reinforcement to the finished carpet.

*It is not uncommon that a Colored Vintage/Patchwork carpet may gradually lose parts of the original characteristic color impression, which will further enhance the carpets unique vintage look. Exposure to direct sunlight may speed up the process, so we recommend turning the carpet from time to time to ensure an even and beautiful effect.
